The Artist
John Daniel was in international
business for thirty years, predominately residing overseas in Asia and Europe.
During his business career abroad he pursued an interest in art, studying under
selected local artists. Upon permanently returning to the United States he has
participated in a number of workshops by well known artists and, now retired in
Houston, attended the respected Glassell School of Art which is part of the
Museum of Fine Arts - Houston.
His art is representational and
includes seascapes, landscapes and figurative works. He enjoys plein air
painting and is a member of the American Society of Marine Painters, the Outdoor Painters Society
and the Plein Air Group
of the Houston Art League.
